Blue swedes seem to be very good about nesting. I once had two of my swedes go broody at the same time. Sigrid and Marta were sharing the nest box

Oh I hope she doesn't get any more haha! I do intend on keeping them. I don't want them abandoned somewhere.

Wow! 9 babies! That's so exciting! Maybe you'll get 10 or 12 over the next few days! It's so hard to know how long they've sat on some of their eggs. Good luck!

congratulations on your ducklings can you give me some advice please? my runner has started to sit on 3 eggs today but they are on the floor under the hutch will they ok there? should I put some hay nearby for her or move them when she leaves to feed etc. Wasn't expecting this at all advice needed and hope ducklings are all well
