Sometime today, you can whip yourself up a bottle of antibiotic wound cleaning spray. Yep. You can make it yourself using ingredients in the kitchen.

Boil four cups of water, distilled if you have some in the laundry closet, tap water will do. Add two teaspoons of salt, not the kind with iodine. Add a whole bunch of oregano to it and boil it for one minute.

Cool and strain out the oregano and put it into a sterilized quart spray bottle. Use this every single day to flush Clover's wounds. Air dry and apply the antibiotic ointment you will have bought by tomorrow. Do this every single day until his wounds have healed. Don't skip a day or allow his wounds to dry up.

What you'll see after several days is "granulation", a swelling of new tissue growth like the lip of a volcanic crater around the outer edge of the wound. This will be a sign that new skin is growing to eventually cover the wound. It could take six to eight weeks. Maybe less.
