Thanks. I wonder if there's anything that can be done. I do have a vet she could be taken to, but probably not until next weekend. The good thing is that really she is quite healthy and fine seeming otherwise.

I would have to take a day off of work and (as a teacher) I really cannot do that. I could try to get an evening appointment. Do you have any idea on what it could be and how they would treat it??

Know idea really. Maybe an infection? If she were mine I would do nothing because my ducks aren't really pets, but if she were a cat, dog, or horse, I would get to the vet asap.

Let me add that many times a trip to the vet for an eye problem ends up with the vet wanting to refer me to an eye specialist, so these trips to the vet for an eye problem can quickly turn into several hundred dollars.
