Hi everyone! A couple weeks ago one of my Pekin girls had a limp. I cleaned her leg/foot and there was no sign of injury. I had her rest for a couple days in the coop and she was back to herself.
Now this last week another one of my girls has a limp. She came out of the coop fine one morning, then i seen her limping in the yard. It’s the same thing as the last duck but she isn’t having such a quick turn around as the other. I have been checking her for cuts, bumblefoot and swelling. I haven’t found anything. I gave her baby aspirin for three days in a row and it didn’t seem to help any. It’s going on a week now of limping. I have given her extra nician and brewers yeast thinking that might help.
I am at a loss and I feel so bad I don’t know what to do.

Hello, and welcome to BYC. Sorry to hear your duck is having problems.

How old is she? What does their pen area look like, could you post a picture? Could you post a video of her limping? To post a video, you'll need to upload it to a video platform like Youtube or Vimeo, then copy/paste the link here. What dose of baby aspirin have you been giving her?

Hi! I am not able to post a picture of her coop or her walking unfortunately I am at work. There coop is a flat floor with straw on the floor for bedding.
she is six months old. I was giving her 81mg of the baby aspirin two times a day for three days.

Well she is penned up I just finished and put some food and water in there and some Romain lettuce with B complex on it. I’m leaving the others in there for support and so she doesn’t freak out being away from them. She’s doing ok so far it’s only been like 10 minutes though😊 that’s her in the dog crate in the back. She also has straw for bedding btw.
