oh geeze! then its time to buy some lettuce! i onlt tore up 3 - 4 leaves.

Thanks everyone! She now has neosporin on her wounds and is put up for the night

only thing is she is STIIINNNKKKKYYY! all that sooty poop. Mom tried to tellme that tomorrow she goes outside. we"ll see. She is still lethargic and when she moves its weird, there is just something not right about it

Can you get Dawn dish washing liquid. It is safe on ducks. That will cut the grime out of her feathers. She will need a few days to get herself nicely preened up, but at least she will be clean and don't smell. That may convince your mother to keep her in the house under observation for a few days. I bet she will be much better tomorrow after sleeping nicely. I bet she had some circulatory problems being stuck in the chimney. Get her some frozen peas, and defrost them for her. They have lost of niacin and sugar, which will help her a lot.
