My duck isn't walking :( Please help

Never mind, he is gone :( My husband (with the best intentions) put the duck in the pond to clean off and swim. I just went out to get him and he was gone. Stupid and sad. I'm thinking it was too much for him. I want to worm the rest in case, if anyone can let me know what I should pick up. Thank you again everyone for helping, sorry the ending is so sucky :( I'm going to up load a picture of our pond area, just looking for input if it is an algae problem maybe? I was reading other posts about how ducks should be pretty hardy to worms, their house is clean and we wash is down good every other week and clean bedding every few days.

Very Sorry To Hear About Your Lil' One psladky,

Many more species of animals are born everyday (especially fowl) and the chance for hidden ailments or defects are very high, there may have been nothing at all that could be done for him.

We only have our two 1 year old pekin's as companion animals, and even though they seem reasonably healthy, every morning I look out at their pen with trepidation hoping one of them isn't laying on it's side. Keep in mind this Lil' One passed while Ya'll were providing the best care you could for him, thousands of others pass each day without any one taking notice.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I just really wanted to save him, he was our first loss, outside of a guinea keet one day after we got it. I just feel there is so much to learn and don't want them to suffer because I didn't figure it out in time. These will all be our little pets too :) They were so fun to watch grow up and how excited they are/were to swim in pools and then the big pond :)

I am so sorry to hear this. Bless your heart

Safe guard paste is fine to use if you already have it safe guard liquid is good too. I use both and also Valbazen liquid we need
@casportpony to help with dosage. Please.

Your pond doesn't look like it has algae growing on it. hard to tell but usually the water is green I believe when there is algae.

Could be another parasite though since you saw worms.
