My duck may have broke its leg

I don't think that my ducks leg is broken, because it's just swollen. It's still has warm foot, and the blood is circulating okay, but she can't stand up or walk. My other duck can walk but it has to put most of its weight on its other foot. And the duck that can walk, his foot is bent in towards her other foot a little. I'm scared that they won't heal on their own, and if they do, will they heal fully?

I'm sorry to hear about your ducks leg

We had this with one of our girls last month and she couldn't seem to put pressure on her leg and when she did it was pointing inwards..

I haven't had my ducks for long so we took her to the vet and it turn tout to be tissue damage.. Can you believe it! I was so worried about her but all we had to do was give her drops twice a day and after a week she was back to normal

Now she is chasing the others around like nothing happened.

Do you have any idea what kind of vet it was?

Just our local vet, all sorts of animals go there

I called and checked they delt with ducks first and they booked her in. It's worth a try I think..
