My duck needs a friend

I had two ducks, a Khaki Campbell and a Pekin. Recently my Pekin passed away and I am worried for my other duck, not that he is sick but that he is lonely. He and his brother have never been separated for more than 5 minutes until now. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what to do. I am not looking to buy another duck and I spend as much time as I possibly can with my other one to keep him happy but he still seems sad at night when I have to leave him. I was wondering if maybe I got him a stuffed animal he would be happier? Please help.

I ended up with one duck that my son had bought..she doesn't hasn't grown up with one but we spend alot of time with her. At night I think she gets lonely but she does have a safe toy hanging in her cage. We can't get another either, not much room. Just spend more time with him. I think he'll be fine. The safest toy we found is a braided dog toy or bird toy!
