My duck with deformed bill. Grooming

I had went to our local co-op to get 2 ducklings. While I was there I noticed a duckling with deformed bill. I wasn't going to get (I'm pretty sure it's a boy)him but after I picked out Di Di and Frizzle I was done. Then I thought what if no one gets him and the place puts him down without giving him a chance. Note: they were 2-3 wks when I got them. So I told the guy I wanted Quasi. I have had them for about 2 weeks now and they seem happy and healthy. BUT with his goof lip I'm afraid he isn't grooming and preening properly. How would I know? If he can't get all the spots properly is there something I can do? Also on a side note if y'all know what they are can you tell me? I'm pretty sure the black one is a runner.

How’s Quasi do with eating? He/she will need a deeper bowl for feed and they need a small bucket or heavy duty bowl for face washing no more chicken waterers.

Oh no they do have deep feeder the chicken waterer is for the chickens they have 2 xlarge dog water bowls to get in and drink out of u til i finish their pond . During the day they are with the hens. In the evening they are still on my porch in a pen with a light for nights. Thank you for your concern.

He maybe able to do some preening too. Does he rub his bill and head over his preen gland then wipe it over his feathers and clean his feathers?
