I have a 10 week old yellow turning white duck. He was fine in the morning when I fed him then i went out a few hours later due to the others making a ton of noise. I found my little man on his back. The only thing I can think of is him jumping off of things he's always doing it. He jumps from the laying box's and tries to fly. He can't fly. But I'm not sure what to do. He's eating and drinking. (I'm not sure if its a male,I just call it him) I give them all the vitamins in the books inside the water every other day. Also he eats flies outside and the scratch i give him. There's 3 other ducks and 11 chicken's in with him. Anything anyone can think of of appreciate!

He also doesn't have a quack. He makes broken ones quiet. He also keeps opening his bill like he's quaking but nothing comes out.

Sounds like maybe he crashed hard?
How many hours since this happened?
Might just give him some time.....good that he's eating and drinking.
I'm not much on first aid, hopefully someone with more experience will be along shortly.

If this occurred over a few hour span, I'd be inclined to think an injury. Possibly from a predator since you heard the other ducks quacking.

Just a few questions,

What are you feeding him, any treats, or supplements in his diet?

If you take the duck out of the pen, is he able to walk at all, or apply any pressure to the leg? If he tries moving could you take a video and post it onto a video platform like Youtube or Vimeo, and copy/paste the link here?

Could you also gently pick him up, and feel up and down his legs for warm areas, or signs of a break, and be on the look for signs of bruising, discoloration, swelling, etc. If you see something could you post a picture?

Immdiently move him to a duck made diet if he isn't already and give him nutritional yeast, he is a Pekin, likely a nutritional issue, they are extremely prone to it without a duck diety or supplements. All ducks are prone to nutritional issues, but Pekins have it the worst. It sounds exactly like what happened with y two ducks, can he not walk at all? One from my very first ducks became gimpy, and died as we didn't know the cause, then it happened with our current drake from our recent set of ducks, and he is forever disabled. Also, a bit too young to sex, wait until they are feathering out a lot more. If needed, in about 3 more weeks, send me a DM on @Brahma_wonders on Instagram and I can voice sex them, but its pretty easy, if they don't quack, boy, quack, girl. I didn't find mine out till almost 3m they were quiet for quite a bit.

A Nutritional issue is not going to occur within a few hours.

I fed him scratch and mix with the vitamins that are in it since he's only about 2 in a half months old. He doesn't have a break i took him to the vet due to me being so worried. He's probably got a sprain said the vet which is kind of a broad spectrum. They did an xray [$298.34] each i had 3 and they did some blood work everything is good in his blood and legs. He is also a she. She does try and move she's doing more yesterday and today then the first day. She's eating and drinking still. They gave her some meds which I am giving her for pain. She does try and stand but she can't. I'm holding her where she's able to touch the ground with her feet and she tries to push, she's Not able to. She also flips over. She won't stay on her legs she pushes them out. When I am home I will take a video and pictures of her and post a link. She doesn't have bruising , swelling, or hot spots. The pen is full u enclosed so nothing can get into it I also have it built into the ground 3 foot down. Its the fencing that's 3 foot down.

Good job taking her to the vet.

Scratch grains are not a nutritionally complete feed for ducks, they lack certain ingredients, and some of which I wouldn't be surprised that are predisposing her to sprains, and leg problems.

Starting her on a All Flock type feed, or a feed formulated for waterfowl specifically would be best.
