She is picking at peas every once in a while. She's drinking water more than she eats. I think she's in pain whenever I touch her. It seems like she has gas. Earlier she was panting which is why I assume I'm handling her too much in my desperation to comfort. Have you ever heard of that Vaseline or vegetable oil method? I'm a bit scared to try this

This picture might help you check for an egg:


If you can't feel on on the outside, put on a glove, water based lube and very gently in insert your finger in her vent. If here is an egg there you should be able to feel it about 1" in.

Do be very gentle because if there is a soft shelled or thin shelled egg you don't want to break it.
