My duckling ate a cigarette ash. Help

Probably a cigarette butt cause it was morning and I made them walk outside but it's not a hot ember and I saw it's not really smoking
What do you mean by probably?
Was it a cigarette butt (a) or was it a cigarette ash (b)?

My duckling just ate a cigarette ash earlier and I don't know what to do. What can I do?

Your ducking probably already has passed it through its digestive system and squirted it out somewhere. I would not worry too much about that cigarette butt. In the future, I would make sure to either keep my ducklings in a pen, or at least make sure there are no butts laying around if you free range your birds.

If you know the source/person of the butt(s) on the ground, maybe you talk to them about not throwing garbage butts on the ground that is harmful to your birds. Having said that, most of the smokers I know would care about as much for the health of my birds as they do for their own health. Which is to say, you might be better off having a nice duck run/pen for your birds if this is going to be an ongoing problem for you. Pick your fights carefully.

In the end, I don't think a single cigarette butt is going to harm your duck. Good luck.
