My duckling got bit

She’s ok but her wing and leg are drooping a bit

Did you clean her wounds there is always the risk of infection and best to clean an treat any bite.Happy to hear she is okay other wise.

Can someone please tell me if my duckling is ok, a fox attacked our flock of chickens and ducks today and two of our 8 week old ducklings were with them and one was bit and it is lying down being very quiet and has stuff coming out of its nose it’s not blood.

I just went to feed her and give her water and I noticed her right leg was behind her body and I touched her leg and thigh gently and I think she’s got a broken leg

The vet rescheduled to 8:30 tomorrow instead

for those of you who know what happened, I just went to the vet today with my duckling and apparently the fox might of punctured her air sack there was a name for it but I forgot, the vet said she might survive if her body can heal itself over time the only thing is we couldn’t find a vet for all animals around us there was only one for cows and sheep but they still gave us information and a pain killer for her
