helppp! im a new duckling owner and i had gotten 4 ducklings 3 weeks ago, 3 of them died and there is one remaining he has been good so far until today, everytime it chirped standing up it would fall, he eats and drinks water and everything still. i have read that it was because it was missing some nutrients. Later, he has been sneezing and having a runny nose. i don’t know what to do

What are you feeding him? Does he have enough niacin in his diet? Also if you believe he has a cold or something respiratory going on I have heard good things about vetRX helping and can be found at TSC.

Sorry for your losses. The symptoms you describe sound like a respiratory/fungal infection, with waterfowl improper management is usually the cause, soiled bedding, lack of bathing water, and kept in overall poor conditions. What are you going to get if you combine a warm environment with water, waste, and feed spillage? Most likely fungal spores like Aspergillus, if the bird's brooder is messy and wet, she should be removed to an airy sterilized environment. If you have an avian vet nearby, I would suggest taking her there, while she may not look ill, birds often mask symptoms until they are in severe condition.

i am giving him Duckling and Goosling Starter grower.

Itching can be normal when growing in new feathers. Can you pick up someDurvet liquid BComplex even ducklings and other water fowl can still have a problem assimilating the niacin in their feed even if proper dose. But we’ve seen great results using the liquid BComplex. What breed and can we have a pic?

How often is she sneezing and what does the discharge out of her nose look like? Is she in cold water? The liquid B Complex can be gotten at TSC it will say injectable but we use it orally. What type of bedding are you using?
