My duckling is walking on hocks.

I was talking to a fellow that said to keep an eye on feed date codes. He said the vitamins will slowly leech out. Fresher feed is better.

I hate it because feed bags are not marked like human food.
My purina bag for instance, says Mar 20, nothing more.
If I buy a 40lb bag, then it's in julian date so the avg consumer has no clue without researching.

Going off from the picture, I would assume your duckling is around 3/4 weeks? I would start them on Cattle B complex Injectable Durvet Brand, and start administering 1ml to each duckling orally with a syringe/eyedropper, or spread the liquid out over treats, do not go the water route since ducklings spill so much it's hard to calculate how much B complex they will actually be getting in their system.

In addition that I would start feeding them a feed designed for ducks or all poultry, a few brands would be Purina Rasier Feed, All Flock Feed, or Mazuri. Chick starter does not contain enough niacin for ducks, which often results in these types of problems, that can become irreversible if not treated soon.

Here is the brand that you want, and here is a link regarding administering fluids to poultry-

Agreed, don’t just put it in their water or on their food, at this point there is an issue that needs to be corrected so either the dose on a yummy treat or a syringe without a needle straight in the beak twice a day.
