Ducklings that young shouldn't be in water for more than maybe 10 minutes maximum and need to be able to have a way to get out if they wish to. If the water is too cold, that could be the problem, especially if it were prolonged exposure or they didn't have the ability to get out. I'm glad most of them are recovering and perking back up! Baby ducklings don't have developed oil glands yet and without a mother to spread her oils on them, they can get waterlogged very easily. Good luck with your babies. Ducklings are so fun!
