Nice set up. So sorry about Horus.. I am happy to hear Nyx is doing good, I hope your dad can find some good feed to mix with these oats and vitamins he is getting. Please keep us updated on how lil Nyx is doing along with pics please.
 
If Nyx is getting his/her strength back, and the weather is sunny and nice for this time of the year, you could spend a little while with Nyx in the garden. Be sure to add something that contains water. Nyx can try to find some food out of your garden for him/her self. You can also create a puddle so Nyx can filter some nutritiouns out of the ground. These little bit of nutritions can make a difference. Keep a good eye om Nyx; 15 degrees is a too low temperature for a duckling; bring Nyx inside after a short while, and immdiately if Nyx starts shivering!

They are dieing now because of neglect.. every situation is better. Noone is going to kill them because there is no meat on them..

I think it is a weird way of thinking when you force someone to take care of ducks when she reaches out that she can't take care of the ducks..

Yes, OP is a kind person to animals. No discussion about that. She wouldn't reach out if she didn't care about these ducklings. But forcing her to take care or these ducklings is neither beneficial for her ór the ducks. My opinion is that you are scaring her in taking care of these ducks. That doesn't make OP ánd the ducks happy.

P.S. Madagascar is not the US.
I'm also not in the US. It can be that your animal shelters kills animals. But OP has no use of this information since she doesn't live in the US.

No I am not trying to scare her in to taking care of the ducks but I do find you scary. Yes, they do kill the ducks and other animals with no meat on their bones. Unsure why you would tell me that they do not kill n the United States since you have admitted that you do not live here. Yes, I think potentially living even if not in the ideal circumstances is better then being out to death.

What is great about the US and the Netherlands is that we have the right to express our opinions. I think it is wonderful what she is doing and I think all life is precious.
