My ducks are changing color

What?...Birds will develop more white as they molt each year if that is what's happening?...Oh brother...
It's in the genes....

The color change is not happening while molting or over the course of several molts. The feathers were a dark brown at the beginning of the year and are now a lighter brown. Same feather - different color. That is completely different from new feathers coming in white.

@chickenman909 can you share pics of your Muscovies? Wondering are they solid chocolates or do the have white head or white over body also .
