My ducks are really loud

I understand ducks will be ducks but my flock wake at about 5 am and have a yelling competition. I'm wondering if there are any sound proofing or tricks I can use to quiet the noise down. I don't mind the noise myself (I enjoy hearing them quack) but I don't want them to piss my neighbors off as their coop is in between our houses.

I have some that are quite loud as well; I have found that different breeds (at least from what I have seen on my farm) are louder than others. For example, my Anconas are FAR & AWAY much louder than my Welsh Harls, Runners, and my Swede.

The only thing that quiets mine down is a snack. They love Cheerios. And green peas (frozen, but thawed prior to feeding). I suppose you could TRY getting up right when they do and giving them a snack to keep them busy...maybe eventually they'll learn that first-thing in the morning isn't the best time for happy quacking.
