My ducks feet are beat up

I have two ducks one of there feet look so clean and normal the other is all scratched what is this from and how can I clean it from being this way (the white is lotion I just applied)

I don't really see anything wrong with the feet, a little dry and scratched but that's pretty normal. The claws though look really long. You can use some nail clippers to snip the sharp ends off. Just do a little bit at a time so you don't go too short and cause them to bleed.

What are they being housed in, so they can't naturally trim down their nails?
