My Ducks love cat food!

My Hens LOVE Cat food, And they have not died Yet! I might be Different For Ducks,Though..... Hmmm ....

Can I feed them wet cat food? My cat recently disappeared and I have a whole box of canned cat food. I don't want it to go to waste but I can't find anyone to take it either.

Small amount fed along with reg feed. good way to get a little extra protein.

I give mine a small handful daily. I like to think it is the source of their shiny feathers. Plus, they love it!

I'm a little late to the thread, but I think this is funny. Years ago I had one duck and a couple of cats. I think the duck thought she was a cat and eventually the only thing she would eat was Meow mix. She was beautiful and healthy and layed many eggs for years.

One year for valentines day we got all the ducks and chickens a bag of cat food all for themselves, they loved it, but thankfully didn't eat it all at once.

Haven't fed mine dry cat food yet, although I have heard it is a good source of protein as well. My dogs LOVE the duck food. Too much!

Can we see a pic? Do you crush it so it’s like a crumble. My ducks chicken an female goose love Salmon an pea dog food ( dry) it’s just a treat though.

Welcome to BYC! I had one of those and he used to love the bags of frozen mixed seafood from the grocery store.
