My ducks only want me for food

I feel ya.... I'm a big weird featherless magic food-dispensing creature too :'(

Wow! Ok I feel so much better. I’ve been googling this for a month and don’t know how I never saw the other thread!!
I’m still trying to find out whose male and whose female. I’m definitely a newbie at this!!
They might still be a little young for sexing. But, in mallard derived breeds ducks quack loud and drakes are raspy. Eventually, the drakes will also get the drake curl.

Female ducks quack ... Males make a soft whisper sound. It's been my experience that most ducks don't relish the attention. The exception to that would be one of our peking's that I raised from the hatch. One of our chickens sat on the egg that a duck had deposited into her next with the chicken eggs. The Hen would have nothing to do with it after it hatched and threw it out of the nest. She would only take care of the chicks. So I became "duck mom". The baby duck spent copious hours cuddling with me and I became her mom. She loves me and will come to sit hang with me when I'm outside. I have a couple geese like that too in a herd of other geese who could care less about human bonding. I incubated a couple eggs the geese wouldn't sit on and they bonded to me "goose mom". They come over to talk with me anytime I'm outside and crawl up on my lap if I sit with them.

Now turkey's are a different story. If you want companionship then raise turkey's from babies, They can't get enough attention and love being pet, malled, hugged, talked to, carried around, and jumping up on your lap if you're sitting. They love their humans. My turkeys follow me all over the farm like puppy dogs.
