My Dumb barred rock question

OK i know I'm going to make myself look stupid but . . .
here are my few questions
Are Barred Rocks a heritage breed ?
Do they breed true ?
or do you need to make a cross to get them ?

Yes, plymouth rocks are a heritage breed, and yes they breed true. You cannot get a barred rock by crossing breeds.

I love my barred rocks. VERY sweet birds, but they have a lot of personality, and like to interact with people. The only other rock I've had was a white rock, and he was the same.

Id rather have birds that want to interact and have personalty ...my red sex linked i have now eat while standing in my lap quit often , i just go in and sit down with the food and we have a good ole time
