granted, their hutch is far from ideal. it's only 3' tall, 8' longx4' wide. I have it wrapped with chicken wire, then covered with clear plastic, a big bale of straw covers the bottom, 4" deep. There is a small 2'x2' metal dog crate in there, my hen has used this for nesting. THEN they discovered the box truck in our driveway, she has decided to lay eggs under the driver's seat! We humans figured why fight them? let them roost where they feel safe. Roo sits on the steering wheel. This recent snow storm has sent these crazy birds back to the coop during the daytime. ( I got wise, put their fresh food in there) BUT THEY WON'T sleep or roost in either of these two "safe' places at night, prefer to huddle against my back door. I woke up this morning, expecting to find two chicken-cicles. Took out hot oatmeal, carried that hen to the coop, the roo flew right in! I've locked them in. Last time I locked them in for not going to bed, they abandoned the coop! My DH is tired of me worrying about my birds.

You might modify it a bit to make it more appealing. Do they have a perch? Make sure there is plenty of air circulation, maybe remove the plastic on the south facing side. One of my pairs (EE& guinea) abandoned their coop when the latest round of snow hit. They have 12x5x5 ft. A frame with a wood coop on one end and the other is wire that is partially covered in plastic. When mine came to the door, I let them in. No husband, lol. I guess they got used to the porch when I brought them in to save them from the super cold we had a few weeks ago. Now we have to re- adapt them.
