My Easter Egger really loves me

Do your other chickens come around and try to peck the one that you whose back you are scratching?

Being a first time chicken owner, I followed Purple chicks advice on the backscratch. The two that are laying seemed to enjoy the backscratch, but Amelia, my normally "nice" chicken, came over and tried to peck them hard. I chased her away, but she was insistent. Was she jealous you think? When a rooster is on them, do other chickens come over and peck them? That must be very uncomfortable.
