We ordered a straight run of 5 of these Americaunas. This is the only one who looks like it might be a roo? Any opinions? Or is it too soon to tell? I am happy to have so many hens out of a straight run, but wouldnt be broken hearted if it was a roo. We have 24 girls and one roo so far....one more roo would be perfect! Thanks!

What is it about the tail feathers that makes you think it's a Roo?
I've got one I'm starting to wonder about. He/She is only about 6 weeks old and also the only one with a red comb.

Thanks for the answers everyone!! I am so pleased!! I was wanting about 3 roosters to my 22 hens...so that will be about right.
( if that is too many roos for 22 girls...someone let me know? )

Tho I was hoping for lots of blue and green eggs...so will have to find a couple of EE hens to make up for these roosters..... 2 of theseEE's have the same red comb...so I have 2 EE roos. Thanks again!!
