My EE flock will be 26 weeks old...pullets not laying yet - but

The roos (cockrels) are putting on their "moves" for the ladies. If I were a pullet, I'd be impressed!

Anyway, I just purchased a Brinsae inculbator, and would love to practice with some of my own eggs (eventually, I'd love to buy REALLY NICE quality eggs to hatch some high quality birds, but I think I need to practice hatching on something that costs less than $20/dozen - I'm pretty sure there is a learning curve, here!)...but my EE pullets are not yet laying.

Once they start to lay, how long until I can try and hatch some of my own?

don't fret too much.. My EE were 30 and 32 weeks old when they laid their first eggs.. It was well worth the wait... Beautiful girls..
