I have 2 NHREDS and 2 EE and 1 of each bread is now laying an egg a day. I guess it will be fried or scrambled for breakfast and egg salad sandwichs for lunch !

Our chicks are 19 weeks but no sign of eggs. They run the property during the day and put themselves in the coop in the evening. Would they be laying in yard under the bushes?? We figured they would go to the coop to lay. Anyone know?

I just found my first egg last week i was so excited....what i was not excited about is that there were also 2 eggs in the dog house. So now i leave my girls in the coop/run until around noonish then let them out. No more eggs in the dog house since. it was just a fluke i saw one of my grils headed for the dog house, i looked at my hubby and said do you think.....and there was a nice little nest with 2 beatuful little dark brown eggs. So i dont think they will go back to the coop to lay....at least mine didn't.
