Puffy cheeks are kinda key with EEs. She does look like she has a little puff. She may be a EE that has been crossed out to much with other breeds. Hopefully someone else has some insight but I would call her a barnyard mix.. I guess the eggs will tell in the end.![]()
Defiantly pretty.![]()
She is definitely a lovely EE!
Beards and muffs aren't necessary for an EE. While both are dominant traits, because an EE is kind of a mutt to begin with, they can be cleanfaced. Just like they can be any color, have any comb, any leg color, etc. It seems that ancestry to a blue egg layer is important, though. But hatchery EEs can potentially lay any color egg, not just a blue shelled egg.
I agree as well. EE's should have bears and muffs ideally, but they don't need to have them. She does seem to have somewhat of a beard.x2 they arn't a regulated breed, so anything goes with them. While I like my EEs to always have a beard, there's no EE police out there slapping hands with rulers about it.
This girl the OP posted is gorgous!!
