My EE started doing the egg squat today!!!

How old is she....Just curious as I have a few EE's and waiting for eggs from them.

gosh, I think she is around 8 months? She was shipped to me as a day old on May 31st 2011

For whatever reason, they seem to be late to mature.

That makes me feel better my oldest ee is only 7 months youngest is 5 months so I'll just assume I won't get any eggs for another month or so....Thanks!

I remember when my EEs started doing the egg squat. Almost more exciting than getting your first egg! (Almost . . .)

See, for some odd reason one of my EEs lays large eggs like yours (her first egg was that big almost) but the other lays much smaller blue eggs. One of my girls (not an EE) even lays really big eggs that are so spherical that I have to bend the egg carton a little for them to fit in!

Yeah!!!! I just got my first beautiful blue egg from my 7 month old Wheaton EE today!!!!!!
