That's what I was thinking........I can only keep one rooster and I love my Silkie Rooster too....

That's too bad, he is really gorgeous! The all black and white EE's are usually roos (not always, I've seen several females), but especially with those hackles and that beautiful iridescent tail.

Thank you......this will be the 3rd one out of 4EEs that ended up being boys.....never had an issue with the guy we buy from until we bought EEs... I'm really bummed.

EE's are very tricky to sex, Even vent sexed from a hatchery I have several friends that ended up with roos. So disappointing! The only advice I've heard on chicks is to look for a very strong chipmunk pattern.
