What a great experiment. Maybe if you mark the eggs, then when they hatch...have some small leg bands ready either for the girls or boys. If you can get leg bands.....get some small balloons..and cut off the "ring" I cant waite to see how this turns out!

Use a piece of cardboard to separate the groups of eggs in your bator as they start to pip, and then as they hatch you'll know which group is which and you can mark them or raise them in two separate brooders.

Of course, you could always use this as an excuse to buy or build another bator...

I've seperated them into two cartons..... I will add a divider as soon as I come up with something that will work without creating a solid barrier..... I don't have any hardware cloth left..... so I have to get creative

Its kinda funny b/c you still ended up with almost 50-50 boy/girl like 12 girls, 11 boys not counting the undecided.

I'm on day 17 today

I used the lid to the egg carton to create a divider.. it has some holes in it already so it shouldn't block all air flow. I'm so excited.... I hope they hatch. I'm hoping my temps haven't fluctuated too much. I'm going to try and create a better set-up after this hatch.
