So, I had 2 females who were laying regularly and our “runt” who wasn’t laying at all - my 4 year old at the time chose her, what can I say?
We usually gather the eggs at night or in the morning and today, we were going to get them in the morning when I saw that there were 4! We haven’t missed a day and I only have 3 adult hens at the moment, so I know someone lay 2, but they’re extremely blue and rather fragile - I picked them up and 1 slightly cracked.
I know of the celadon gene but I’ve never seen them this blue… Is this too blue?
And is it safe to eat?
