So one of our pekin eggs have a little hole that has been pecked by the beak but we checked and right now the body is not active is it supposed to be like that, theres no smell or anything and its not lacking so I'm wondering if its dead???? Please help I need as many answers as I can get!
Thank you!!

Can you see inside the hole and it's not moving at all, or is the egg itself not moving? They will take long breaks during hatching to get some rest. It's normal for the eggs to have periods of not rolling around.
Did you open the incubator? Usually, if they pip, they are doing well and will finish on their own. If for some reason there isn't enough humidity, or if the incubator was opened, they can get shrink wrapped (the thin membrane between them and the shell shrinks around them) which can basically suffocate them because they can't move. If there was sufficient humidity, this shouldn't be an issue.

Ducks take their time hatching, try to be patient!
