I didn't get a chance to see any eggs move, because mama was on them. I did however LOVE the chirps! They're so loud even under the hen!

Ok….newbie here, I'll bite. What pre-tell is LOCK DOWN?!!!! Funny term, sure it has an important meaning though.

As long as the incubation temp and humidity and the hatching temp and humidity are good the hatch should be successful. This is just what works for me and my opinion. Thank you, cmom! There's another person on here that asked the same question about lockdown. I think it would be a good idea to have a sticky for this thread on all the terms associated with incubation....if there's not one already... (is there one?)
