My eggs have gone past day 21- PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

yup 28 days-but It went 26 I had it in my hand to throw it away-thought it was a big old egg-it peeped at me so I left it in the baotr day 27 it was out adn sweet as pie--love my chuckie--hold out---listen for peeps and be patient--​

Thank you for all your replies. the humidity is automatic so I'm not worried about that. The eggs smell fine, but when I candle I see no movement. I'll leave the eggs until day 24 then i'll break the air sack end open and see if there is a live chick inside. If there is, would there be a chance of survival, or would it die?

DONT CRACK ANY EGGS YET!!!!!! Candle them to see if they are duds or died early. If not you could be killing a soon to hatch baby.

As long as there isn't a bad smell coming from the incubator, I would leave them alone. What is your humidity?

OOOH! If you candled them and the not air sack part is full and not moving they are probably hatching in a day or 2. Maybe 3. If you were to open a live one early it would die

Ok. I'll leave them until my next incubator arrives, Thursday or Friday. Then i'll end it. The humidity is fine, By Thurday it would be day 26 so I think that is the time to end. The air sac remains unoccupied, there is no movement at all, and I'm so very CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!

I just had a chick hatch on day 29, healthy and happy. Just be patient.
