I have e-mailed it to you Miss Prissy. All I did with the instructions was reset it to the factory setting incase I had messed it up. THank you so much! You are a gem indeed! Oh by the way, the thermometers.... How do I know if they are accurate? They are all brand new, they are all saying much the same thing. The stick one sent with the incubator is hardest to read and gives more of a general idea than a specific temp. The dial one is for terrariums and came with a hygrometer as well. It is a Flukers brand and also does not have the specifics of the digital. I bought a digital thermometer also for terrariums about $10 - I think the brand is Zilla .... it has a probe that I have hanging right next to an egg. THe probe isn't touching it though...

I'll go check my email and read. I say leave the bator till morning and see what the temp is then.

OK, it read 98.4 this morning so I upped the next toggle (7) and am waiting to see how it pans out.

If you know your thermometers are accurate as soon as GQF is open I would call and insist they help you set the thermostat to the factory setting of 100 degrees. You should not have to toggle up to 6 and only have a 98 degree reading. Something is wrong. After as much trouble as you have had I would insist they send a new thermostat ASAP.

How can I check my thermometer accuracy? DO you think I should get another one for good measure? If so which one would you recommend?

I am going to buzz up to Petsmart in the next hour or so and get another one. Then I think I will probably be calling gqf as soon as that has registered because I have a feeling it is the incubator, we'll see won't we!

Well, I called GQF as my new flukers thermometer is also reading low as are the others... Even though I went up to 7 I am still only at about 99.3 F. GQF don't think there is anything wrong, but after some insistence on my part they are sending another heating unit, fan etc today. They aren't too far away so hopefully it will get here soon. Should I keep incubating these eggs and trying to get it up to a good temp or should I let them cool for a couple of days and then start again? Can you do that?
