we hatched some chicks out of the bator and put them outside finally, but, our favorite chick some how got out of her area and the hens and guineas pecked her! They her till she started to bleed. and soon we came outside to see a bleeding chicky... we put the chicky in a box inside the house, and put creme on its head, and now its outside again, poor chicky!

I would keep it separated until it is totally healed. The others will pick on it more if they see the scabs.

we had the same thing happen to us we had 2 broody hens 1 had hatched a day before i went out and found two chicks with their head bleeding from the sides

but eventually their wounds scabbed up just keep putting anti-biotic oitment on it i hope your chick heals up soon
