Awww, how sweet.

That is the last baby from Smoky before she passed away and she has been a sweetie pie since Cyn hatched her, just a snuggle bunny. The blue orp hen is also Smoky's daughter but from 2009. I do like your handsome boy, I have a soft spot for good boys and feathered feet. I adore my remaining cochin. I lost my splash to the heat last summer but my red has survived the heat, a fox attack and travelling from Oregon to Kentucky through a blizzard and a white out. She is one tough old gal. hahahahaha

What a sweet chicken! Not many will tolerate being petted like that. And I think somebody else wanted a little face-time.

Those two orps are from Speckledhen's flock (Suede and Smoky specifically) they are a hoot. I have one other "hugging" chicken, also from Speckledhen's flock...that is my Politician Chicken Junebug. She is a Delawegger that has no clue she is a chicken, she sneaks into my jeep, and like Zena she demands attention and being held, she sneaks through the storm door if it does not close fast enough and she likes to play the XBox with my daughter. She is a true mess! I swear the best oddities come from Speckledhen's house.
