Those look secure. You might need some additional ventilation.

As well, once you are close to being done, do a walk-around and see if there are any security weaknesses. If you were a predator, how would you try to get in?

There is probably some articles on BYC on securing your coop and run. It may be helpful to read those for ideas.

Yeah I thought about the top gonna put in a bracer then mesh the gaps and I have a metal sheet under the coop and pen because I didn’t feel like moving it lol but I still close them in at night. Made the door today not the best but it works they can get fresh air now

Well this gander had his last straw. From biting me and leaving bruises to ripping my ducks back raw he’s in the freezer now. He’s been an issue since 11 weeks old with trying to mate everything.

My 13 week olds still huddle in a corner and now they got a 2-14-25 and a 3-15-25 hatched birds joining them! The oldest two know how to roost! They must be reliving their chickhood lol

My 10 week olds are all roosting. Because I threw in a broody with chicks in with them when younger and she must of taught them?

Such cute little birdies. I have this one silkie (I think she’s crossed with a Cornish cross) and she always sleeps on the floor. Poor girl. The exception is if the coop is really dirty. There was one time I had a hen join her. :)
