Hi, I am looking for another Starling.
I live in Utah and have a cousin who rescued a European Starling in July. I’ve adopted it and when it’s not on my shoulder, it’s usually flying around the house singing. It’s cage is a transformed wardrobe where he sleeps so there is room for more. While I’m working I’d like to find him (I think it’s a him) some company. He’s the most social little dude and won’t leave my side for the entire night if I worked that day. I’m not sure how to go about finding him someone to sing to when I’m away. He’s about six months old now, the picture of him and the cat was at 1-3 months. My cousin had him at that time. Is there someone out there with a baby or bonded Starling who would like to let it join our family? Thanks in advance,
Ali

You don't have to limit your search to starlings, they can bond with jays as well. Not one bit as nature intended but it is an option, a noisy one though.;)
I was contacted by a wildlife rehab center who told me if I brought another bird in they would most likely fight to the death, so I’ll let him have his own territory.
