Forced air. Genesis Hovabator.

To get them to stand there, I trilled like a mama hen does when she sees danger. They freeze for about 2 seconds. Then you can get a shot before you have to grab them as they go in every direction. lol

Thats what I have and now I also have CHICKS!!!!! #5 just hatched I'm at work but my house guests sent me a picture!!! One seems to not be making much progress ..... if its not out when I get home I might have to help it.

I haven't used a still air, so I really don't know. I hope someone will answer your question.
