My Family would like to ask for your Prayers.

My sister is a heamatology nurse in the UK, she always tells me to go and make a stem cell donation. These are used now instead / as well as bonemarrow.
they are easier to harvest than bonemarrow, and foreigners like myself whos blood is "contaminated" due to the BSE scare of the 90's can still be harvested for stem cells.

It is like giving blood, then they take that blood and "shake" (not techinical term) the stem cells out.

Prayers and action is the perfet combination!

Ill be making my appointment today!

Just a thought, and my thoughts are with your family always.

I lost my niece to cancer in Aug. 2007. She was 8 months pregnant and we the the little girl too. I lost my Uncle Ray in Aug. 2007, and we lost Uncle Tom to cancer in June, 2006. My cousin Sherri just had the roof or her mouth removed due to a rare form of cancer. Cancer is just a horrible disease. What does detrimental mean? Rose has had cancer 18 years ago in her thyroid and made it. I have Faith that she will make it again. Did you hear about Parp Inhibitor..on the Today show? It is a new drug that is responding very well to cancer. There has to be a cure some day for this disease. Thank you for your prayers and I am so happy to hear that your step-daughter is doing so well. I am going to visit with Rose Sat. I miss her being home. I just want to take her and hold her until she is all better. I have to get my crying out every day before I call her so I don't cry the whole time I talk with her. If I could, I would take the disease for her. Thanks again for your prayers and I wish to thank everyone for there thoughts and prayers. We love you all for them. DJ I will keep you all updated.
