Hi i'm new at having chickens but i'm loving it! one of my favorite chicken breeds are showgirls. what are yore favorite chickens?

That's a cute little Showgirl you have!

I have a mixed flock and like them all for different reasons, but if I have to play favorites I'd say Speckled Sussex and one of my Red Sex Links (which isn't really a breed but still my favorite chicken). Of course the Easter Eggers are fun. And the Rhode Island Reds have been some of my best chickens. And the Barred Plymouth Rocks are great. See? Hard to play favorites, lol!

Welcome to BYC, glad you have a showgirl. I think they are overlooked too much, - they should be more popular. They generally have all the best characteristics of silkies - especially being broody mamas. Do you only have the one bird?

Hi Blue-Blue! You already know me! But I had to reply anyway. My favorite breeds are Millie Fleur D'Uccles and Silkies. I like Frizzles too, but I'm not sure if that's a breed or just how some chickens look.
