My favorite nesting in the yard at 6:30 at nite

I have 4 girls, and my buff has been nesting away from the coup and everyone for over an hour, and making loud noises. Is this normal. do they lay eggs at nite? She is the leader, and the other 3 are by her looking worried. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

ok she just layed an egg. Is is normal to lay this late at nite??? It's after 7pm

Mine seem to lay whenever. I've had a few girls that were so distracted by dustbathing, sunning and foraging that they literally forgot to do their thing and have ended up laying in the middle of the night from the roosting pole

Priorities... LOL
