some of you read my story about my roo chasing of a kid to protect his hens but its getting rediculious he is the best roo ive ever had today we had a freak rain storm so i went out to cover up the chicken feed and there was my roo pedro soaking wet but he had his wings spread out and all three of his hens were under his wings and bodie!
all the hens were dry but my poor roo was sooping wet looking miseriable but refusing to let one drop of water on his girls. and know he gives them dustbathes on their own all the hens do is lay down and pedro will kick dirt on them for him. he is also amazingly protective he is vicious! today he took out a feral cat that was stalking his hens. thanks for listening for my rant about my great roo.
