All the most personable chickens I have, or have met, are Roosters.
I just don't understand the hype about roosters being mean-- To be honest I have been attacked by more hens, than Roos lol.

That's his favorite spot for watching us when we are building stuff--it offers the best veiw of my projects.. and he can give his 'crow of approval'.
