I know I cant resist the ones at TSC when they are in lol. Thanks!Aww...
We went to the produce store about 2 weeks ago, and they had Pekins and Khaki Campbells, but they were speckled, I had to have them! They were adorable! One of them has a speckle of black on his/her beak.
Your ducklings are so cute!
Well they would probably cross mate because they all grew up together, and the issue would be that the babys from a kahaki and pekin would be sterile thats all that I know that would be bad.I got 3 new ducklings, 2 of them are Khaki Campbells, and they look a lot like the Runners in the picture, except, smaller.
But I do have a Pekin aswell, I was wondering that when they get to breeding age, that they wont try to cross-species... or is it safe for a Pekin and Kahaki Campells to mate?
Thanks.
By the way, how did you get so many Indian Runners?
Well, Murphy's law.Well they would probably cross mate because they all grew up together, and the issue would be that the babys from a kahaki and pekin would be sterile thats all that I know that would be bad.
I got so many because my origonal 4 blue indian runners started to make eggs...and me and my Dad had the great Idea to fill a incubator from TSC up with about 30ish eggs and see what happens/..... We didnt expect that many to actually hatch... Lol!!!
