My female sadly lost her mate I’m having hard time finding a single duck any sugg

I had 5 chickens and 2 ducks all raised together since babies
we ended up getting rid of the chickens and I had my crippled male and my female Pekin ducks
so heartbroken but I had to have my boy put down as his 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 my female is doing ok she’s eating and I spend extra time tith her but I don’t want her alone as I know it’s best and I love her I’m having a hard time finding a single duck and don’t want a baby as Opal (my girl) will be 4 this summer
 
I haven't had experience with having a single duck losing a mate and I am so sorry you are hurting. We lost our Aplha boy, our females first love, in January and it was hard. She had 2 other males but she was sad. We gave her a stuffed soft duck to cuddle and it seemed to have helped. We got another female and she perked up and rejoined the boys in daily activities. We only have the one boy now and the 2 females but she's better.she still has her stuffed duck.

I tried the stuffed animal from all the posts I read on here. It seems to be a useful tool until you can find a match. I hope your baby is doing well and I hope you are too.

I have tried putting toys in with her but she is a funny duck lol
doesnt even like a kiddie pool lol prefers a shallow pan she can climb in and splash and bathe

I am in Wisconsin. How do I find my state page on here? I am looking on facebook and craigslist oh I never thought about vets thank you
