Well, a big welcome to everyone; new faces and the 'regulars'.

Well-today was the Chicken BBQ for our snowmobile club. It went great! The pie eating contest was hilarious! And the kids had a great time with the games I had set up.

They auctioned off TONS of stuff. I had a plastic, little girl tearra that one lady wanted sssooooo bad. She and her friends said that they wanted me to auction that off too. The one lady paid $26.00 for that tearra. [IMG]

It was great! And the corn.......wow!

And I laughed so hard, my cheaks hurt. [IMG]

It was a great day! Beautiful weather. [IMG]

I hope everyone out there had as good of a day as we did.

    Good Afternoon fordmommy....

It was a great day here on the hill too! Suzie made a huge turkey roaster full of smoked ham, fresh red potatoes, and a ton of fresh green beans. It turrned out delicious.

The kids, my mom and 2 grandchildren had a great day talking, enjoying some great refreshments, and enjoying the perfect weather.

Wow dark out already...yikes, I need to go lock up the flock.

Buck Creek....how did you do showing your birds? [IMG]

Was Tyler one of the judges?

That would be kinda cool to pursue that.

We had Horse and Buggy days this weekend in Wega. I had to work so I was unable to do much but apparently it went well. At least the weather was nice and the yellow jackets were not too bad!

Quote:You know???Now that you mention the yellow jackets.....You're right!?!? I think I saw maybe 2 all day today. And I was working with candy bars.

Hummmm? [IMG] I wonder what's up with that? They usaully practically carry the food away this time of year. And scare the bahjeeses out of the people. I kinda figure that the cold summer must have something to do with it. But man! It makes me wonder how the human population is effecting this planet.

They're saying it's going to be another cold and snowy winter like last year. Is this a good thing or bad, I wonder. [IMG]
